Stephanie O’harra is the 6th grade core teacher at Achiever Christian School. She is originally from Iowa and began studying elementary education at Hesston College in Kansas.
Stephanie finished her B.A. in Elementary Education at Goshen College in Indiana. She then completed her student teaching at a Title 1 School in the area. Along with teaching an ELL classroom, she participated in training sessions on brain research as it relates to teaching and learning.
Mrs. O’harra went on to teach on the Hopi Indiana Reservation. While in Arizona, she taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th through 7th grade Science and Social Studies. Her love for technology and creativity led her to start a school newspaper and involve students in the photography and design of the yearbook.
Mrs. O’harra also has a heart for ministry. She has served as a counselor for many years at a Christian camp in the Midwest. At Goshen College, she was a ministry leader in the student-apartments.
In 2013, Mrs. O’harra joined the Achiever family. She is the 6th grade teacher, continuing her calling to share the love of Jesus through her passion for teaching.
